The Perfect Easter Gift

It’s beginning to look a lot like Easter is on the way at Contemporary Connoisseur as they sell flocks of the perfect Easter treat.

These cute little creatures come with their own personality, being made using earthenware clay which is hand modeled and then carved. The wire legs are hand spun and hammered. They are then painted with ceramic underglazes and paints.

Not only are they a unique and fun Easter gift, they add a quirky touch to any home, office or even a cute addition to a kids bedroom.

The bright and funky chickens by ceramic artist Elodie Barker range from $35.00 for Baby Chickens and $75.00 for Mother Chooks.

We blogged about the beautiful Love Mae designs a few months back [here] and we were recently lucky enough to get a glimpse inside the Love Mae studio with the design duo, Emily and Peta.

It’s so nice to get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into our favourite brands. Maybe we’re just nosy, but we love to put a name to a face [or two] and we’ll never pass up a rare chance to see inside their studios and their personal lives. A BIG thank you to Love Mae for sharing these beautiful snaps with us! TSN x

Perfectly cooked, shaped eggs - bake a batch simultaneously, perfect on an English muffin for breakfast or a quick snack. Grease muffin tray, crack an egg in each muffin area, bake in a 175°C oven for about 15 - 20 minutes. [via Macheesm]

A beautiful DIY gift idea perfect for birthdays, Valentines Day, or maybe just because ;)
