D&G sure know how to put on one fabulous garden party. The runway was literally planted with lavender, dahlias and roses and provided a captivating setting for the collection clearly inspired by the English country garden.
Daywear consisted of gingham and floral printed frocks and rompers with leather bloomers and crocheted bikinis.
For the evening, magical flounced chiffon dresses in floral prints continued the whimsical garden party theme.
We absolutely adored this collection, thank you D&G. x

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week coverage from New York is starting to flow through and so far white appears to be the dominant colour combined with minimalistic designs. A few designers have also shown intricate hand-knits, Frank Tell did this beautifully, and bold clashing prints adding a much needed burst of colour to the prevalent nude and pastel palettes.
